Same Self Loving
Zaidi in the Jacket
“Observing and learning how to be one’s Own lighthouse, while knowing that between the search and the rescue, the only fire on this path is your own.”
Maybe same gender loving really just means same self-loving.
Maybe We, the individuals that are loving and in relationship with those that look and feel just like ourselves are actually, without ceasing, running towards Us.
We are unconditionally hopeless romantics that won’t quit on our own liberation, willing to free each part and piece until We feel whole and not bound, not hidden, and certainly not preserving Our spark for a lifetime better than this exceedingly expansive, glorious, right now.
Always observing and learning how to be One’s own lighthouse, while knowing that between the search and the rescue, the only fire on this path is Your own.
Here, We find ourselves looking into the mirror. I am beautifully handsome, like a reward, and impressed by Your wit. Our survival. Look at Us, sprinting with a burning desire to be so bold and brave that We will fight for this life that We have fought for many times before this last time. We have witnessed someone so magnificent within Us and Them, it only becomes more obvious how much the world will fail without Our selves. These bodies.
Quietly or loudly, We are obvious, firm, ready and willing to bring life into these vessels. We need Us to live. When We are quiet, We remain lost, stifled, and never truly experiencing the world We promised Ourselves in the lifetimes before We arrived.
Keep falling for you.
